I’m in Noosa Australia today, and I kind of missed being in the US for Thanksgiving. But I spent a lot of the day in gratitude nonetheless.
I think a day of gratitude is one of the most genius things we Americans do.
I truly believe gratitude is one of the most powerful energies in the universe. Have you ever noticed how difficult it is for gratitude and judgment to exist in the same moment? It’s nearly impossible! Gratitude literally annihilates judgment. It’s a kind of magic really.
This year I’ve become increasingly aware that it is not just the “good” things in my life I am grateful for. I’d love to share some of them with you here…
- I’m grateful for my ability to see where I am functioning from a limitation, as uncomfortable as that is.
- I’m grateful for the people in my life who never change, as they show me how much I have.
- I’m grateful for my tenacity to charge forward even when awkward or incorrect and get more awareness in the process.
- I’m grateful my body gives me intensities when it requires change.
I wonder what your world would be like if you made every day a gratitude day?
What might it create in your life and the world?
